What is in the sewing kit?

The kits contain a high quality wool blend felt. Pretty wooden buttons, sewing and embroidery needles, glass headed pins, sewing thread, embroidery thread, buttons for eyes and the pattern and instructions to make the character.

The instructions are extremely comprehensive with colour photographs showing every step making it so easy to follow.

Is it Cheaper to Buy my Own Materials?

By the time you have purchased all of the separate pieces of the kit that you will need, you will probably have spent more than the cost of the kit. The kits only contain exactly what you need i.e 1 needle and 2 small buttons for the eyes. This saves you from buying packets of equipment when you only need 1. It is much more economical and environmentally-friendly as you're only purchasing what you need rather than buying extra supplies that you'll possibly never use.

What if I Want to Use my Own Fabric?

If you want to use your own fabric then you wouldn't need a sewing kit. However, it might be a nice idea to purchase a kit, sew the character out of the pieces that come in the kit and then you can re-use the pattern and make another one out of your own fabric.
